Our Projects

As a proud member of the West Tennessee Community Action Council (CAC) for the Tennessee Nonprofit Network (TNN), our CEO/Founder, Andrea Baird, plays an active role in strengthening the nonprofit sector across the state. She collaborates with nonprofit leaders to surface regional challenges, identify emerging opportunities, and shape strategic initiatives that reflect the realities on the ground in West Tennessee. In this role, she brings her lived experience, equity-focused lens, and deep commitment to social impact to the table—contributing to statewide conversations that directly influence policy, capacity-building resources, and sector sustainability.

Through this service, Andrea acts as a connector and advocate, helping TNN build stronger relationships with community stakeholders, spotlighting the needs and innovations of local organizations, and providing insight into ways to serve historically underrepresented groups better. The CAC also serves as a dynamic learning environment where she continues to develop as a leader, engaging in sector-wide dialogue, peer learning, and collaborative problem-solving that support Tennessee’s nonprofit ecosystem at every level.
